The older couple who run this place are wonderful, and the language barrier was not a sore point as they tried to accommodate us. Food was amazing, the tuna just melted in your mouth. Very yum.

Overall good food with more than acceptable prices. Although it's somewhat difficult to order as someone who does not understand japanese because you are supposed to order with a "checklist" (japanese), the staff is very friendly and also accepts customers pointing at the dishes.

We enjoyed our lunch here. We are Spanish so the fact that local customers were speaking out loud wasn’t bad at all. Spain is louder. I guess food is to be enjoyed specially if you are between friends! We just could hear the good bond between staff and customers. Besides our kids were also interacting with everyone so it gave us a very good familiar friendly feeling. It is our last day last meal, and we wanted to be a special meal. And for sure it was! If we stay another time in kamata we will for sure visit this restaurant again!!! Pd I’m not sure, but the lady waitress was superb and friendly like the sushi chefs. She did her best to communicate with us in English :)
