Ramen Jun Kamata Branch. Has the main store in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, and this is the first store to expand to Tokyo. We have been operating in Kamata for over 15 years. Please enjoy the "extra thick noodles with back fat soy sauce" which is the authentic taste of Niigata. It is a ramen that you can only get here, made with lots of pork bones and seafood that is addictive. The last order is 15 minutes before.

My wife and I enjoyed a bowl of ramen, a side dish of pork, and a bottle of beer. Aside from the delicious food, the staff were also very considerate and provided small plates and cups, making this a great place to stay. I'm not from Tsubame City or Sanjo City, but I'm from Niigata Prefecture, so I hope this restaurant will thrive in Kamata, a hotbed of restaurants.

The toppings were a bit too excessive, making it difficult to fully appreciate the noodles and broth, which were both absolutely delicious.

Bonito-based broth with thick noodles. There is also "Jun-Jiro" on the menu (You guessed it right. A Jiro-inspired dish).

The entrance is not flashy nor very inviting, but the noodle dishes are amazing! You can order using the ticket machine at the front, so Japanese is not really needed. You sit at a long counter, with just enough isle space to squeeze in. Definitely worth a try!

It’s a different type of ramen than what I’m used too? I was told it’s a different style?
