Located in a quiet, charming residential area of Sanno in the Omori area of Ota Ward. The former residence has been restored and renovated. You can only go in as far as the entrance, but since the rooms are entirely glass-walled, you can see the study and other rooms from the garden and get a feel for the atmosphere.

A memorial hall for novelist Shiro Ozaki (free admission). It's set somewhat back within a residential area, quiet and with a nice atmosphere. The building is unstaffed, and when you go in you can only enter as far as the entrance area. Basically you peek inside from the entrance, or view the exhibits through the windows from outside the building. Looking at the exhibits inside through the windows was somehow fun, and personally I liked it. Many of the exhibits show his exchanges with people connected to him and his relationships, which deepened my interest in Shiro Ozaki as a person.

First off, this is a rare case where the Google Maps route is wrong. As of 2024, it leads you to a spot with no entrance, so there's no way to get in. Neat, clean, well looked after. It seems the building was relocated to Aichi. The building here as of 2024 is a copy of the old one. You can step into the entrance. The rooms and explanatory materials are viewed from outside through glass windows. There are two tall buildings on the south side, so it doesn't get much sun. In summer it's humid and there are a ton of mosquitoes. In winter it gets little sun and is cold. On the north side there's a wisteria trellis, and when the wisteria is in bloom the atmosphere is nice.

A memorial hall for novelist Shiro Ozaki. You can enter the residence as far as the entrance, but you can't go up inside. The exhibit panels in each room face outward, so you look into the rooms from around the outside of the building. Nearby is Tokutomi Soho's Sanno Sodo Memorial Hall.

Exit the north ticket gate of Omori Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to the left toward the Sanno exit, head right in the direction of Oimachi Station, turn left and cross at the Sanno-guchi intersection, then follow the slope of German Street (German-dori) — at this point it's better to cross over to the north side of German Street too. Go down the slope and continue for a while, passing Le Garyu M on your right, and you'll see a sign on the left side of the sidewalk; turn right at that corner and then left, then right again and left, and at the corner beyond is the Shiro Ozaki Memorial Hall. It's a memorial hall that restores the later-life residence of Shiro Ozaki, author of Jinsei Gekijo; normally you can only view the interior from outside, but according to the guide at the Sanno Sodo Memorial Hall, it seems you can tour the inside for about an hour with a curator on the first Saturday of every month from 14:00.
