Onigiri-ya Konga, an onigiri specialty shop, learned directly from Otsuka Bongo, ranked No. 1 in Japan on Tabelog for 10 years in a row! Once you order, a certified artisan shapes it right there on the spot! The onigiri are warm and super fluffy! They gently fall apart in your mouth and match perfectly with our carefully chosen fillings! They're guaranteed to make you smile! The onigiri at Onigiri-ya Konga are about twice the size of regular onigiri! You can enjoy true "Bongo"-style onigiri packed with carefully selected fillings prepared over 48+ hours! From traditional ume and salmon to slightly luxurious beef sukiyaki and sujiko, you can choose to suit your taste. Toppings can also be combined…

A delicious onigiri spot in town with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rice balls are freshly made and full of flavor, with a great variety of fillings to choose from. They also offer free-flow miso soup, which makes the meal even more satisfying and comforting. Definitely a great place to stop by for a simple yet hearty meal.

So many options and you can mix-add extra topping, can choose size (the small one actually already big enough). Will come again trying other variation ☺️ The staff are so nice giving us english menu knowing we are looking the menu outside 😂

Absolutely loved this place. The best onigiri I’ve ever had in Japan or anywhere. Freshly prepared, large size (I chose regular size but half and larger sizes are also available). I chose combination of tuna mayonnaise and raw tarako, and it was lovely. Added tofu miso soup and pickles to complete. A must visit place in Kamata.

I stumbled upon this shop while exploring the city and it completely blew my mind. The onigiri here are nothing like the ones you find at convenience stores — The nori wrapping was fragrant. Highly recommend to any traveler visiting Japan!
