I'm djrina, a food reviewer who's both a 'gourmet' and a 'big eater.' Since it's 100% my own money, I write reviews without holding back, and sometimes I know how to coldly cut ties 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♂️. I visited a neighborhood coffee shop with my niece/nephew who's studying abroad~ I wanted to feel an old-fashioned vibe like Cherry Coffee Shop on the east side of Kamata Station~ This place is on the west side of Kamata Station, and it was a coffee shop with a truly old-fashioned vibe where older folks enjoy brunch while reading books. For reference, like 'Cherry,' smoking is allowed here, so it might be tough for non-smokers. When we went, a couple in their 20s also came in and were comfortably enjoying themselves~ My niece/nephew ordered the pizza toast and an iced blend coffee, and I ordered pancakes and an iced black coffee.. The pizza toast was better quality and tastier than I imagined, and the pancakes were pretty disappointing, but the atmosphere and service were good, so I was satisfied

A warm shop run by an owner born and raised in Ota City. There are owls everywhere! Playing on the "fuku" in "Mamefuku Coffee," customers kept bringing owl goods one after another until it ended up like this 🦉 I thought the morning set might only come with coffee or tea, but the owner said any 450-yen drink was OK, so I got hot milk. I love Peter Rabbit, so I was happy with this cup. The salad was properly homemade, with lots of tomatoes, and delicious. It's nice that you can choose a hot dog for the morning set. It was a hot dog with a good kick of mustard. The morning set starts at 9:00 (10:00 on Saturdays), a bit later than other kissaten. Smoking is allowed, so be careful if you don't like it! When I went there were no other customers and no smoke, so it was comfortable 🙂 ▫︎Morning set (hot dog) 700 yen (probably 650 yen with toast?) ※Smoking allowed ※9:00〜18:00 (from 10:00 on Saturdays)
