Small portions, the fried gyoza was not that great and the sesame balls were not tasty. The bean paste was dry. But at least the dumpling soup was good.

2026.7 Visited with a client! There were lots of autograph boards—maybe it's a famous shop?! With the evening drink set, we had glass noodles and this shop's winged gyoza! Great texture, loaded with filling! The juices were amazing! The evening drink set is a great deal too! Thanks for the meal!!

Visited when staying in Kamata on a business trip. It's apparently famous for winged gyoza, with lots of TV coverage and many celebrity autograph boards on the walls. Both the pan-fried and deep-fried gyoza overflowed with juices and were delicious. The filling is on the lighter side, I guess… The menu is extensive, but there were also some pricey novelty gyoza. The spring rolls looked nicely fried, but it was a bit disappointing that the inside wasn't very hot. I think winged gyoza is best eaten quickly while freshly made.

One of the Big Three of Kamata gyoza (lunch until 17:00) On my Kamata gyoza tour, today I went to Konparu 😊 On a weekday Tuesday, I was running late from work and went in around 15:15 🏬 Only 2 groups inside! While most Kamata gyoza shops serve lunch only until 14:00, Konparu apparently does lunch service until 17:00! That's great ☺️ However, some items sell out, so just watch out for that ⚠️ Also, if you go in by 14:00, you apparently get almond tofu too 😋 Ordered right away 😎 I was torn about the fried rice + gyoza set, but ordered twice-cooked pork plus gyoza à la carte 🤤 In under 10 minutes the twice-cooked pork arrived first, and about 5 minutes later the gyoza arrived too 😇 The twice-cooked pork was a bit light on meat, but personally I like the seasoning. Lots of cabbage was a plus 😚 The gyoza was also the low-meat, packed-with-cabbage type 😂 Personally I prefer gyoza with lots of juices, so that was a little disappointing 😔 But considering the price and volume, overall I had a satisfying lunch 😋 If I get the chance, I'd like to come again ⭐️

I was surprised that in this day and age all menu prices are listed excluding tax. Most people probably go "Huh?" when paying. The pan-fried gyoza seems to be the specialty, and while the generous volume is fine, there's almost no garlic punch. The suanlatang noodles had a soup that, sourness aside, had almost no heat—mediocre. Neither was what I had hoped for.
