The nicest thing I can say about this place is the food is okay, but overpriced. Ookayama has lots of other dining options that you would be better served by. The food is at best average. We had barbecue meats, but were charged for for more side dishes than we ordered. The portions were very small, we spent almost ¥4000 per person but all left hungry. We did not order any drinks, so that was ¥4000 of food… Speaking of the food, the Kalbi was mostly fat. 2 pieces of 6 in our order were all fat with nothing edible in them. The staff didn’t help us after our initial order arrived. We noticed that they cooked for other tables, but never came to ours. Our drinks ran out but we never got refills. If you read this far, please eat somewhere else in Ookayama.
