An izakaya with sukiyaki, hot pot, and obanzai. At lunchtime we serve single-serving sukiyaki and single-serving hot pot. They come with egg, rice, and pickles. At lunchtime we recommend the domestic shoulder loin sukiyaki. The domestic shoulder loin tomato sukiyaki is also popular. For those who just want to eat their fill, we also recommend the beef hot pot made with American beef belly, and the stamina hot pot loaded with garlic and an addictive spiciness. At dinnertime, in addition to sukiyaki with domestic shoulder loin, A4 wagyu shoulder loin, and A5 wagyu shoulder loin, there are also obanzai made that day. You can also have a quick drink with the 3-item obanzai set. Of course there's draft beer, bottled beer, and sours, plus Kaku, Chita, Hakushu, and Yamazaki wh…

Very decent food at affordable price.
View on GoogleVisited at lunchtime. I had the domestic beef (shoulder loin) sukiyaki for ¥1600. The single-serving pot was piled full of meat, whetting my appetite even before I started eating☆ The meat of course, and the vegetables too were soaked through with sauce and delicious. I even got an extra egg (¥100). Lunchtime is cash only, so be prepared when you visit. It was extremely delicious — thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleA restaurant where you can enjoy single-serving sukiyaki, a 2–3 minute walk from Ōokayama Station, down a slightly narrow alley. I visited for lunch on a weekday. Inside there are about 12 counter seats and one 4-person table. The seats are a bit cramped, but it's a restaurant with a nice atmosphere. This time I ordered the domestic beef sukiyaki (shoulder loin) for 1,600 yen and the beef stamina hot pot for 1,250 yen. Both come with rice, pickles, and egg. The rice was a generous portion, but they said refills are available. The beef stamina hot pot has beef belly plus kimchi, garlic chives, bean sprouts, and more. The domestic beef sukiyaki has meat covering the whole pot. It warms you up and fills you up. A place I'd definitely like to go on cold days.
View on GoogleHot pot for one! ▪️Domestic beef (shoulder loin) sukiyaki・1600 yen It's a “solo hot pot” place like Osaka's “Nabeya.” Is hot pot only at lunch? At night it seems more like an izakaya. The beef hot pot with American beef belly is 1000 yen and great value. But since I came all this way, domestic beef... I totally fell right into their strategy, huh~(^^;; But the meat looks beautiful and it's photogenic! Rice refills are free, but I asked for a large serving from the start, so just one bowl... Under the meat, all sorts of vegetables are packed in. There's plenty of volume to be satisfied! I'm super curious about the “oyster hot pot,” so if I can, it's a place I'd like to revisit once more this season! Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleIt feels more like an izakaya than a restaurant. A cozy space with an L-shaped counter and one table. At night I ordered the 2000 yen wagyu sukiyaki. Fully satisfied with both the taste and the amount. There was quite a lot of meat, and I was surprised that besides what was piled in the pot, extra meat for topping up came on a small plate. I ordered rice separately (200 yen!) and got full. The warishita is on the sweet side and makes the rice go down easily. Delicious sukiyaki of this quality and quantity for 2200 yen is national-treasure level! The proprietress runs the place by herself, so it takes a little while for the food to come out, but that can't be helped. I guess she's working hard to offer this price by keeping labor costs down.
