I've eaten all kinds of Indian curry, but the curry here somehow felt gentle and warm and was truly delicious. The owner was kind too, making it a place I'd like to return to.

I love this place. The white curry is my favorite. Johnny, the owner, runs it alone, and food takes a very long time to arrive, so I can only go when I have time. Since the coronavirus pandemic, I've only used takeaway. Before coronavirus, I once went when it was really busy (though there are only 4 tables), and the food didn't come for about 1 hour; it was eventually served after someone who seemed to be a regular helped plate it. That's the kind of place it is. It's a little intimidating to enter, but the food is delicious.

The exterior is retro and you might need some courage to enter, but please give it a try. In our family, Indian curry always means Rim. Since he runs it alone, it can take a little time, but the aroma of spices cooking while you wait stimulates your appetite, making it all the more delicious and satisfying. Takeaway is of course available too, but my wife, a huge fan of the place, calls ahead.

Since it's an independent restaurant where the owner handles both the dining room and kitchen alone, it often takes a long time between ordering and being served. But it's delicious, so I hope it opens again.
