The curry was a little bit too watery and salty for me. I also prefer naan from other typical India/Nepal curry places from other areas. The food was certainly not bad, esp. considering they had very affordable options. But this was just not my favorite among very many Indian curry places I’ve been to. The service was very good though they took a bit of time to serve the food despite having few customers. The time didn’t bother me though, since I still thought it was reasonable given the naan was freshly baked. The place had 5 tables, and all were booths. So it’s easy to enjoy the place whether you come as a small group of up to 4 or even just by yourself. The place is also clean and quiet.
View on GooglePhenomenal restaurant for anyone who wants real Indian and Nepali food for a good price. Suraj is a great chef and makes delicious food. I cannot recommend visiting enough. You will not regret it 🌞
View on Googlefood is ok but looks like the restaurant holder is not so caring about its customers.
View on GoogleAn Indian curry shop near the entrance of the street to Nittai Ebara High School, after crossing Kanpachi at Ebara High School from Yaguchinowatashi. A friendly-looking young man greeted me in front of the shop. I went for lunch. The interior has a woody design, and time flows quietly, a nice vibe. I was hungry, so I ordered the set with two kinds of curry plus both rice and naan. It also comes with salad and a drink. I chose lassi for the drink. The curry is really delicious. Not just spicy but also mellow. The naan is fluffy. The unfortunate thing was that it took quite a long time for the food to come out. Once the staff started cooking, they seemed fully occupied and unable to get to anything else…. If it were a bit more crowded, it looks like it'd fall apart. The atmosphere is good and the taste is unquestionable, so I hope they keep at it.
View on GoogleI ordered the set menu with two kinds of curry. The curry types are fixed, so in a way it's good because you get to taste the shop's top picks, but the butter chicken curry was oddly sweet, and the vegetable curry had a gentle taste. In both, I couldn't really sense much complexity in the spices? I visited on a Sunday afternoon; is the staff running it solo? They looked overburdened, and one group of customers (a party of 3) left partway through. Also, it was hot inside the shop… I thought this showed a lack of will to take care of customers. I'll hope for better in the future.
