I went with the recommended unadon and tanuki soba set (cold) for 1,200円. I'm stuffed. The soba was cold and delicious. Next time I want to try the tendon and tanuki soba set.

It was inexpensive and delicious for such a generous portion. The taste was somehow nostalgic, like home cooking or food from a set-meal restaurant. I ordered tempura udon and was surprised by all the vegetables and the shrimp too! Tempura at restaurants usually leaves my stomach feeling heavy, but this one didn't at all, so it was healthy? I'd like to try other things next time. The owner was humble and kind, and I'd like to keep coming back. The place is a little old, but it was nice that it was clean too.

Found it through a search while out for work Just an ordinary soba place Fair for the price and affordable The chilled tanuki soba was tasty, I guess? lol, though a little bland The yakiniku bowl had a Showa-era flavor The rice-bran pickles were good too The katsudon is a no for me lol Might keep coming for a while~ lol

A soba shop I found by chance It was the right choice! They're welcoming to families with children too I thought the flavor might be too strong for my child, so I asked for hot water, and they gave me dashi instead😭 My child was delighted too! Thank you so much😭 The photo is the set I ate! lol This one was generous too and such incredible value!

I arrived around 13:00, and there was 1 group of elderly locals. Apparently they're only open for lunch. I ordered the katsudon set from the set menu. For the cold soba, I could choose noodles in cold broth or zaru soba, so I chose the cold broth. The soba was delicious, with crispy tenkasu in it. The katsudon had a strong mentsuyu-like seasoning. The portion was also enough to fill me up. The cutlet meat seemed a little firm. No problem if you chew it well. Even the set was under 1000円, so I could enjoy an inexpensive meal. Thanks for the food😋
