First visit to 唐朝. I went for lunch, and it was cheap and delicious. I had the liver and garlic chive stir-fry (reba-nira) set meal and gyoza. It's close to the station, so access is good. There doesn't seem to be a parking lot. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleA shop a short walk along the shopping street from Ikegami Station. Lunch averaging under 1,000 yen is cheap. This day I had tantanmen and the yurinchi set meal. Generous portions. I also ordered gyoza on top. Everything was delicious. The exterior is a bit hard to walk into, but inside it was clean and spacious. The staff were kind too. For alcohol, Suntory seems to dominate; the bottled beer was Suntory as well. Drinks are cheap too, so if you live nearby, it's a place I'd want to go drinking at night.

It had a nice tang, and the sauce was just how I like it—delicious. My companion had the stone-grilled mapo tofu and spring rolls. It was bubbling away and looked spicy, but they said it was just right. It stays piping hot forever, so be careful.
View on GoogleYou can get mapo tofu at all sorts of Chinese restaurants, but stone-grilled mapo tofu is something you don't see much. This stone-grilled mapo tofu, served piping, piping hot, has my family totally hooked. This time I chose the seafood noodles, which were also tasty. Both were 800 yen at lunch. With set meals, it's nice that rice, soup, and salad are free refills. The staff always chat with us in a friendly way.
View on GoogleLunch is cheap. Stone-grilled mapo... chunky meat with a strong douchi flavor, it was delicious! Ankake yakisoba... personally I'd be happier if the flavor were stronger Gyoza... No.1 of everything I've eaten lately! Way tastier than Kangei! Crispy and juicy! Steamed chicken with scallion oil... the meat is tender, really delicious, and the portion is generous too!
