Must visit if you’re in Terminal 1. Amazing view of the runway and you’re able to see Mt Fuji if weather permits.
View on GoogleOne of the best airport observation deck I've ever been to. Located at the top floor of the mall in terminal 1, it's free, clean and has seats/vending machines. There are two levels with wire fences. If you got tele-lens you can definitely shoot without the wires entering the view (images i post are either 50mm or 14-24mm).
View on GoogleThis has to be the most calm, clean, but also busy airport I've ever experienced. All of the staff was extremely polite & helpful. The check in was quick and efficient. We arrived FAR TOO early due to our bad experiences at other major airports stateside and abroad. We have been very impressed with how clean & efficient all modes of transportation have been during our trip to Japan.
View on GoogleAlthough I have arrived at Haneda Airport many times and yet this was my first visit to this observation deck. I have heard this was the place to have a great sunset photo with Fuji San in view. They were on the floor 6 and one observation deck at both sides. They were all facing west. I checked out both and felt that north one had a better view imho. Although I did check the time for sunset it turned out it was densely cloudy. In the end it was a great way to visit this busy JAL hub.
View on GooglePerfect place for plane spotting. Can have Mount Fuji as background if weather permits.
