This place is exactly what our souls needed. Everything was delicious. The pancakes were the best we’ve ever had, good tea, coffee and orange juice. It felt so wholesome and even though we don’t smoke, the smoke didn’t bother us. They were very kind, and the shop felt so peaceful. A perfect mom and pop shop.

Visit date: November 2025 Regular menu "Hotcake Set" Price 850 yen (tax included) There are lots of kissaten around Kamata Station, so I went to a café I hadn't been to yet☕️ Coffee and hotcakes for 850 yen is cheap, and the hotcakes were cut up to make them easy to eat🥞 They were generously topped with whipped cream and maple syrup, and I enjoyed them😋

【A warm, nostalgic, smoky lunchtime restaurant】 In the morning I made an incognito trip to Kamata to see a dentist at a dental clinic, and then it was time for lunch! So I wandered into the alleys to see if there were any special restaurants. I found a very nostalgic restaurant, the set meals weren't expensive, and after the meal there was KEY COFFEE to drink! The only small drawback is that smoking is allowed indoors⋯⋯ While I was eating, the uncles & aunties around me were all puffing away! When I got home, my clothes all smelled of smoke。。。。。 @東京 Donkey(蒲田店)

Smokers were gathered here. If you can't handle the smell or smoke you should avoid it, but for smokers it's a place to unwind. People gathered to read books or newspapers at leisure while drinking delicious coffee. I had the dry curry and curry doria, and they had that old-school kissaten taste and were delicious.
