I found this shop while walking along Nakahara Kaido. It is on the corner where it intersects Kanpachi, so the location is very easy to find. I visited while out walking. I arrived around 12 on a Saturday in late November. I removed them from the photo, but there were several customers ordering outside, and it was busy. Some customers were buying about 5 at once. The displayed まかないのりコロ弁当 looked delicious, so I ordered it with fried white fish for an extra +20円. Payment is cash only, by the way. The freshly made bento arrived warm. Even after the train journey home, it still retained a little warmth. Under the nori, along with bonito flakes, there were finely cut pieces of croquette, and these were incredibly delicious. I understood what コロ in まかないのりコロ meant. For this volume, a price in the 600円 range including tax seems very reasonable. Customers kept arriving, showing its popularity. They also had a curry bento, which is fairly unusual for a bento shop. Next time, on a fine day, I would like to buy one and eat it in a park by the Tama River.

A bento shop I had been curious about for a while. It is near Denenchofu Police Station. You order verbally. I chose the 丸ジューメンチカツ弁当. Since they make it after receiving the order, you wait outside the shop for a little while. By a little while, I mean about 5 minutes. The bento is so generously packed the lid will not close properly🤤 As usual, half is rice, and the other half has a huge menchi and one large piece of 唐揚げ. The rice is neither hard nor overly soft, with just the right firmness. You can taste the rice itself—delicious! The menchi is huge, and when you bite into it, meat juices pour out—so juicy! It is almost a shame to finish it. The 唐揚げ is also large and tender. Both the menchi and 唐揚げ were piping hot, and I was very satisfied. A bento shop that met my expectations! I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal😋

The good reviews made me curious… 丸ジューメンチカツ弁当 The menchi katsu really is juicy and crispy💦 The 唐揚げ was large and delicious too~ At first I worried there would not be enough side dishes… In any case, it was filling and satisfying.

A bento shop offering 唐揚げ, メンチカツ, ハンバーグ, and more. These are so-called all-brown bentos, but the shop seems to straightforwardly compete on flavor and volume rather than appearance. The 唐揚げ in particular is huge, deeply seasoned, and full of meat juices—an absolute favorite. When I first bought it, the portion was so enormous I wondered whether I could finish it, but it was delicious and I polished it off quickly.
