A Chinese restaurant that opened during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was curious, so I went with my family for a meal out after a long time. It's about 1000 yen per item, but the portion is large and the cost performance is quite good. Hot oolong tea is served in a teapot, very authentic. The taste is also good, I want to come again. There is also a second floor, and for the first time in a while, I heard the voices of children from families eating there.

I ordered shark fin fried rice + wonton soup for ¥800 (tax included) from the daily menu. It comes with dessert (almond tofu). It's a pity that the fried rice, sauce, and wonton soup were all lukewarm. The inside of the shop is clean.

Mapo fried rice comes out in a small clay pot, but the portion was too large so I left half of it.

Opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, and since the takeout bento was delicious, I went to eat there. I could eat a set meal even at night. The taste was not just ordinary, but a bit different. The balance of pepper and chili feels like Taiwanese cuisine. The almond tofu that comes with the set meal is cheap canned stuff, but the pickled mustard greens (zha cai) are light and delicious. The takeout fried rice has a large portion, so it's just right to buy it with mapo tofu or stir-fried beef with green peppers and share it between two people. For a high school boy, one serving might be enough. Next time I want to try the noodles.

There are many types of menus. There are six types of lunch set meals. It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant. The staff were also kind. When I went for the first time, they gave me dumplings. Simply put, Kouki's quality is higher than other Chinese restaurants. The decoration in the shop also feels warm. The most memorable thing was Kouki's mapo tofu. It tastes different from other Chinese restaurants.
