Aviation Enthusiast's dream Restaurant. Amazing view of the runway and taxiways of Haneda Airport. The food was great-I ordered beef stew with rice and coffee. Friendly staff. They got interesting decorations like lego cae simulator or plane models along the desk. Getting here can be little bit tricky-you have to stop at shin-seibijo station taking the tokyo monorail local train, or the regular bus service. Also note that windows seats are only for one hour. Overall great places to kill time around haneda for tourists.
View on GoogleRight by the monorail’s 整備場駅! Outstanding ロースカツ enjoyed while watching airplanes, plus hidden, seriously good sweets Visit: June 2026 (weekday lunchtime) Very close to 羽田空港, about a 2-minute walk from 東京モノレール’s 「整備場駅」, is the insider favorite 「ブルーコーナー UC店」. Away from the airport’s public terminals, its location truly feels like “an oasis for the professionals who work at the airport.” This time I visited for lunch on a weekday. I treated myself to my target dish, 「三元豚のロースカツ定食」, plus 「チョコズコットセット」 for dessert, and had a thoroughly satisfying time with a very full stomach. Here comes an enthusiastic, in-depth review of over 1,000 characters! Atmosphere and location: a true 羽田 hideaway! The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of ユーティリティセンタービル. Step inside and large windows spread out before you. Beyond them is a dynamic view of 羽田空港’s runways and aircraft parking areas, airplanes coming and going, and specialized vehicles at work! I was shown to a window seat that day, and for airplane and vehicle enthusiasts, this is an unbeatable entertainment space. Even on your own, there isn’t a single second of boredom. The staff were efficient, too. I was impressed by how briskly and cheerfully they managed the restaurant, bustling with airport workers from both manual and office jobs. 🥩 Dish 1: a seriously generous portion! 「三元豚のロースカツ定食」 A little while after ordering, the freshly fried, piping-hot ロースカツ set arrived. Appearance and portion The moment it was placed in front of me, it made such an impression that I almost blurted out, “Whoa, that’s huge!” The 三元豚 ロースカツ, covered in a beautiful golden crust, sat grandly on the plate. With rice, miso soup, a small side dish, and pickles, it was the perfect lineup for a hearty lunch. Thoughts on the taste I immediately poured on some sauce and took a bite. The coating made a delightful “crunch!” Its lightness was wonderful. And the star, the 三元豚, was incredibly tender! With every bite, the sweetness and savoriness of the quality fat characteristic of 三元豚 spread juicily through my mouth. Despite being loin, it wasn’t overwhelmingly greasy, and the quality of the meat itself really showed. The shredded cabbage was fresh, too, and above all, the seasoning made the white rice disappear quickly. I polished everything off in no time. As you’d expect from a place that feeds airport workers, both the portion and the flavor were thoroughly satisfying. Dish 2: enjoying 「チョコズコットセット」 with that separate dessert stomach After finishing the hearty rice and katsu, it was time for the eagerly awaited dessert. ブルーコーナー is actually also known for the very high quality of its sweets, especially zuccotto cakes. The appeal of チョコズコット The チョコズコット has an adorable dome shape. Cut into it and you’ll find it packed with nuts, chocolate chips, and cream. The first bite starts with the fluffy texture of the cocoa sponge, followed by the richness of the intense chocolate cream. Particularly noteworthy are the fragrant nuts mixed inside and the crisp texture of the chocolate chips. The combination is exquisite, and never gets boring. A blissful finish with the set’s coffee The hot coffee I ordered with the set was a fantastic match for this rich チョコズコット. Enjoying the marriage of sweetness and bitterness while watching airplanes outside the window slowly start moving was pure bliss. I should have been full from the lunchtime ロースカツ, but this truly went into a separate dessert stomach. Ordering it was absolutely the right choice. ⚠️ Things to know Weekday lunchtime is bound to be busy This is a valuable break spot for people working at the nearby maintenance facilities and offices, so it gets very crowded around 12–13. I recommend shifting your visit a little, to the 11 o’clock hour or after 13, for a better chance of a window seat and a more leisurely time. Pay attention to access You cannot walk directly from 羽田空港’s Terminals 1, 2, or 3. You need to take 東京モノレール to 「整備場駅」 (※ this is different from 「天空橋駅」 and 「新整備場駅」, so check the station name!). It might feel a little challenging for ordinary tourists, but that adds to its hidden-gem appeal. 💡 Overall verdict Delicious food, outstanding sweets, and a superb location with airplane views. It has all of these, and the prices are very reasonable considering the location. The restaurants in 羽田空港’s major terminals are lively and appealing, but going a little farther to spend time at 「ブルーコーナー UC店」 makes for a different, special experience. From hearty lunches to café visits specifically for zuccotto, this excellent restaurant delivers whatever the occasion. Both my stomach and my heart were satisfied. Thank you for the meal! I’ll definitely be back!
View on GoogleVisited with my wife using shareholder benefit vouchers around 13:15 on 2026/7/6 (Monday). Lunch runs until 14:00. I’ve been several times, but it felt like an unusually large number of airplanes were passing right in front of us today. (In a good way) 牛すじシチューセットセット+large rice (1,480円). My wife ordered チーズトマトハンバーグセット (1,050円). Reasonable prices and the food is quite good. Only 1 soft drink is free (water is self-service, too). It’s about a 10-minute walk from 羽田空港 Terminal 1, but the route is confusing, and even グーグルマップ says “unable to search.” So taking the monorail there might be easier to follow. Most customers seem to be voucher users or nearby airport workers. So ordinary customers like us might enjoy it by treating it as an “employee cafeteria+α.” On the way back, we walked underneath the runway to the airport’s Terminal 1. After visiting the 6th-floor observation deck, we were tired and thought we’d stop for tea, but were surprised to find every restaurant, including ロイヤルホスト, absolutely packed despite it being around 14:30 on a weekday.
View on GoogleI visited 「ブルーコーナー」 inside 羽田空港 for the first time using shareholder benefits from 空港施設株式会社(AFC). Unfortunately, the benefit program has been scheduled for discontinuation, but I went to make the most of this precious final opportunity. 【Appeal】A special seat that brings airplanes up close The biggest attraction is unquestionably the spectacular setting outside the windows. You can view the runways and parked aircraft right in front of you, and the takeoffs and landings are hugely impressive. For aviation fans and photography enthusiasts, I think it’s a wonderful space that never gets boring. Free Wi-Fi throughout is another welcome point for anyone wanting a leisurely visit. 【Service and food】 The interior has a calm atmosphere, but service is very basic, and at times felt somewhat businesslike. As for the desserts served and the cleanliness of the plates, it seems best to regard this as having the casual style of a café in a tourist area. 【Overall verdict】 Rather than focusing on food quality or customer service, I felt this was a place to enjoy “time spent watching airplanes in the special setting of 羽田空港.” Whether or not you use shareholder benefits, it’s a location worth visiting at least once if you like airplanes.
View on GoogleI’ve been several times. The space is wide, with counter seating too, so even on your own you can see incredibly impressive airplanes right in front of you. Many planes pass from left to right, but those occasionally coming from right to left pass closer and are even more impressive. You can enjoy the view from their nose all the way to the rear. That day the building had blue sheeting on it, which was a little disappointing, but fortunately we could still see properly. Food ordering had switched to QR codes. Last time I had fried dishes; this time I shared ビーフシチュー and 棒ヒレカツ with a friend. The ビーフシチュー was simmered until meltingly tender, and the demi-glace was delicious. The 棒ヒレカツ was tender too, with perfectly fried breading, and tasted great. I wanted to use up my final benefit vouchers this year, so I ordered a cake set as well. That was delicious too. The coffee was ordinary, I guess. They tell you window seats have a 1-hour limit at lunch, but perhaps because it wasn’t that busy and we also ordered cake sets, we weren’t asked to leave even after 1 hour. I imagine it’s beautiful at night too, so I’d like to visit again.
