Food was amazing, drinks a little expensive but very good but no Birra Moretti :'(
View on GoogleThis place is trully a little gem. Nice atmosphere, tasty beer and extremely nice staff always serving a good recommendation in regards to beer and wine. Tasty snacks and affordable prices. If you happen to visit 大岡山, then it's a place you don't want to miss.
View on GoogleI am italian and I must say that in Birreria Luppolo I felt as if I was in Italy, both for the great food and the nice atmosphere. In month in Tokyo I have been there many many times. Both guys, Masahiko and Takuya, are extremely good and professional, food is delicious and the service is really high level. It was a real pleasure spending time with them, not only for the food, but also for the warm and nice atmosphere. I had a lot of fun! For anyone who wants to feel all this, I strongly recommend Birreria Luppolo!!!
View on GoogleSmall, warm place close to the station but not so close to be filled with crowds. Great selection of Italian and Japanese beers (and wines).
View on GoogleAround 7 p.m. on a weekday, a Tuesday, I was walking around vaguely craving something in season, and was drawn in by the menu written on the sign along with wine. There was one other group already there. Looking at the menu, they seemed to have a good selection of craft beer too, so first, a toast with an American Pale Ale. Spring seasonal items happened to be on the menu, so I ordered the wine-steamed dish (I think the menu said asari clams, but they said hamaguri clams had just come in, so I asked for those instead). I ordered the staple anago and maitake fritto, and a salad with horse prosciutto(?). Hearing me mutter to myself "I wanted something with firefly squid," they said "We can put something together" and made firefly squid and spring vegetables stewed in tomato. Every dish was delicious, and they also served red and orange wines to pair with them. I enjoyed it all. As others have mentioned, it's a typical wine bar thing: the wine prices aren't very clear, so you might get a surprise when paying the bill. I also felt the wine pours here were slightly smaller compared to other wine bars. That's my one concern. That said, the food changes with the seasons, and you can enjoy wine and beer in a quiet space, so I recommend it to everyone from foodies to drink lovers.
