Nice Italian restaurant. Pizza and all other dishes are ok. Waited a little but staffs should take a little more care about those waiting. 10 min walk from the station.

Good food but little pricey. They have a nice view of the river n' mountains. Parking is limited. It is good cycling break stop.

This restaurant is a very convenient and casual place to enjoy pizza after a morning on the river. The pizza was average, but still good. Parking is available right down the hill. The only thing I didn't understand (and it may be because I am a gaijin and i don't fully understand the concept of "reserved") is why we could not dine outside on the attached patio for lunch that the server said was reserved? There was no one there. Not a soul. But I had no other choice but to order my pizza to go and sit on the ground to eat it. I had my dog with me, and although the sign advertised that dogs are OK, we were not permitted to eat there. Granted, my dog is huge, but I wonder why we could not just sit on the attached outdoor patio? I have tattoos on my ankles…perhaps is that why I was not allowed to stay?

First the pizza and other Italian fare served here, independent of any other variables, are just plain good. But as a cyclist, I have particular reason to love this restaurant all the more. As it happens, Yoshizo Cafe resides near enough to the halfway point for a 100km round trip up river from my typical starting point. Head out early-ish from the homestead, bike hard until eventually a bend in the road brings the café into view. Ideally, settle into corner table on the outdoor deck...one that overlooks a view made yet more perfect if properly timed during April's sakura season. All that remains is to decide which meal best accompanies the moment. And then it's all downhill from there.

Bad experience, we waited more than 1h30 for a pizza, which was also pretty disappointing... You can definitely find a better place for having your lunch
