They serve Udon and Soba, and something more. Then I ordered soba. It's not expensive and tastes good. Unfortunately the soba is over boiled for me. I think it's on purpose to match their taget generation. It means it was not my taste. Even though it's worse for the price actually.

I had an irresistible craving for Yamada Udon's ‘パンチ,’ so I went to the Ome Shinmachi branch. This time I paired the パンチ set meal with warm soba. The stewed offal served on a plate was tender and packed with savory flavor, and its combination with green onions was fantastic. There is a reassuring feeling of ‘This is Yamada Udon!’ The soba had a lovely flavor from the broth-soaked tempura crumbs and wakame, making it comfortingly delicious. It was a fantastic combination that satisfied both my stomach and my heart.

When I lived in Saitama, I often went to eat at Yamada Udon. Back after a long time~. Since it was Sunday lunchtime, we waited a little, but were seated quickly. My eyes were glued to the weekend-only super-value set advertised at the seat😋 My husband ordered the curry set, and I ordered the kakiage rice bowl set. When you think of Yamada Udon, you think of パンチ. I was delighted that a small bowl of it was included. It was tender and very delicious. For the noodles, you could choose udon or soba, hot or cold. This time I chose zaru soba. Both the noodles and dipping broth were well chilled and delicious. The main kakiage rice bowl was also full of absorbed flavor, sooo good~🥹 It was a thoroughly satisfying lunch. I would like to visit again.
