Tempra bowl is good, yummy and so cheap!
View on GoogleI visited for the first time just after 11:30 on a weekday. Inside there are counter seats for about 10 people, 2 sunken-floor tables, and one table seating 4. It is a very quiet, relaxing space for a meal. There are lots of windows, so the interior gets plenty of sunlight. I chose the popular shogayaki set for 800円. The meat is tender, easy to eat, and thick too. The cabbage on the side is delicious 😋 With white rice 🍚, nameko soup, kiriboshi daikon, and lightly pickled vegetables included, I think this price is very reasonable. Quite a few people seemed to be ordering the yakiniku set (750円). There is parking beside the restaurant. It looks like it could fit about 5〜6 cars.
View on GoogleThis diner is just after you turn toward Ozaku at the Ome Shinmachi intersection on Ome Kaido. There is parking for six cars in the vacant lot next door. Inside is spacious with counter seating, an old-fashioned diner with the television on. Order verbally, pay afterward, cash only. I recommend the yakiniku set for 750円 for both its value and flavor. That day I chose tendon. Green beans, shishito peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, and shrimp. The freshly fried tempura was delicious. The miso soup and sides change daily. I personally like it, though most customers may be local regulars.
View on GoogleThe place is lively with regulars. While everyone else ordered set meals, I ordered mori soba. To put it positively, um, positively, let's see—the unassertive soba is fairly well rinsed and comes with quite sweet mentsuyu rather than soba dipping sauce. Perhaps that makes it easier for children or people who dislike soba to eat? It is possible. Anyway, it is cheap, so I will not complain. Maybe it is meant as a side dish for people who need one more item after a set meal. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleThis is a small neighborhood set-meal restaurant run by a married couple. I visited after reading the Google reviews. This time I ordered tendon. It arrived topped with lots of piping-hot, freshly fried tempura. There were 2 shrimp and plenty of vegetable tempura. There was a nice selection of homemade small side dishes too. Everything was genuinely delicious, and I was very satisfied. I would like to return and try something different next time.
