I payed 560 Yen (3,5€) for a Huge Bento. It was very good and only took 5 minutes to prepare. The Store is located right next to the train Station and even has an english Menu.

We came during GW without a reservation around 11:10. Our arrival filled the last seats, so coming early is recommended. I think about 10 people were waiting after 12. We ordered the sobagaki, soba konnyaku, and soba tofu set for 2,000円 and the tempura set for 2,250円. The tempura was crispy, and the soba tofu, which I tried for the first time, was incredibly good. The umeboshi tempura was souuur〜 haha The soba was simply tasty. PayPay accepted Thank you for the meal〜.

A place with limited capacity. Write your name at the entrance and wait. I didn't know and went inside, only to be sent back to the entrance to write my name. There were lots of names written down, so I was about to head outside, thinking the customers must all be somewhere. But there were only 4 people inside, so I was shown in immediately. It was past 13:00, apparently after the first round of diners. The prices are Tokyo prices, but they serve delicious soba. Of course, since the soba is delicious, I paid an extra 500円 for a large portion. 20260403 The tempura with the tempura soba was crisp, with mountain vegetables probably gathered locally. I don't know much about them, so I don't know their names, but they were definitely tasty. I heard the 4 customers beside me saying the tofu was good and thought about ordering some extra, but gave up. Someone who arrived later added tororo. It looks like a country house, so I really wouldn't have found it without googlemaper information. And I'm grateful I happened to get in right away. After various things, I ended up here. It was a lucky day. I found a small shortcut on the way back. I might never be able to come again. It was a really, really, really, really lucky day.

I came back after 15 years. As expected, the soba here is delicious! The way it goes down and its aroma are superb. The soba tofu is excellent too, and the sobagaki and sashimi konnyaku are exceptional dishes you can't get elsewhere. The tempura is light and crisp too, especially the umeboshi and apple tempura, which are delicious! Although the parking area inside only fits 3 cars, more than 3 cars had squeezed in, leaving people who couldn't park unable to turn around and leave, causing a huge traffic jam. After finishing our meal, we couldn't get our car out either, and had to ask someone to reverse. Please follow the rules and proper manners. Only the 3 spaces beside the restaurant are available for parking. If you have a large car or aren't confident driving, I recommend using the free parking lot behind Umenouchi when it's busy. It's on the website too! Walk down the alley with the sign, and the restaurant is right there.

A Saturday in December, just after 13:00. We were the last ones admitted before the “Closed for today” sign went up, so we just made it. We ordered tenmori and the Umenouchi set. ◎Tenmori 2,200円: zaru soba and seasonal tempura (can be changed to kake soba (hot soba) for +100円) That day's tempura was pear, umeboshi, avocado, shrimp, carrot, pumpkin, and purple sweet potato. Apparently the ingredients vary each day. And they'll fry anything… Although the sign outside listed fruit among the tempura ingredients, I thought it might be dessert or something, but it really was fried as tempura. A little nervous but very curious! I tried the pear first… it was meltingly soft, and whether due to the pear itself or the frying, the inside was like honey, sweet and delicious! The avocado seemed richer, while the umeboshi was probably homemade and quite salty; another interesting first experience. The pumpkin was sweet, and the carrot was fried with not only its skin but even its stem end. It didn't feel awkward in the mouth and was sweet and delicious too. The pumpkin, carrot, and shrimp were all large and satisfying! I wonder what they'll be frying next time〜 ◎Umenouchi set: zaru soba, soba tofu, sobagaki, and sashimi konnyaku, 2,000円 Very filling. My first sobagaki was wonderfully chewy and substantial, and my companion, who likes sobagaki, was delighted too. The soba tofu was delicious, and the sashimi konnyaku was so soft it made me wonder, is this really konnyaku? The all-important soba was thin and smooth enough to make me wonder, is this 100% buckwheat? Very satisfying! The dipping sauce was Tokyo-style, soy-sauce-based! Going down the narrow road is fun too. They close when the soba runs out. They said they're short-staffed… so the wait may be a little long. But every staff member was a truly lovely person.
