10/10 Huge portions Delicious Good vibes 🔥
View on Googleとん㐂@Ozaku ビックリかつ丼 ¥900 「とん㐂」, a tonkatsu restaurant in Ozaku❗️ At lunchtime, you can get reasonably priced set meals for under ¥1000. It's quite a large place, but appears to be independently run. The ビックリかつ丼 surprised me with its huge bowl, but the portion was only a little larger than an ordinary katsudon. The sauce was quite sweet. The katsu seemed to use tenderloin rather than loin, so it was relatively light. The lightly pickled vegetables had a refreshing shiso flavor, and the miso soup was a standard version with tofu, wakame, and fried tofu. I'd like to try the other set meals, so I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal♪
View on Google「Ome Station area. A hidden gem with 47 years of history, where you'll find an impressive 220g pork loin katsu and exquisite bento」✨ A celebrated restaurant known to those in the know, nestled in the quiet streets of Shinmachi, Ome City, Tokyo. Now in its 47th year, this long-established restaurant's appeal lies in its outstanding value, maintained by keeping prices unchanged for years. Apparently, it now focuses on lunch service and bento. Inside, plenty of fine sake carefully chosen by the owner awaits. This time, we explore its refined appeal, focusing on lunch and bento. 【An impressive amount of meat】A supreme lunch set that satisfies all five senses To experience the restaurant's essence, start with a freshly fried set meal served in-house. ロースかつ御膳(regular price 1,250円 / lunchtime 1,182円 ※excluding tax) The moment it arrives, your eyes are drawn to the extra-thick pork loin katsu, boasting an incredible 220g portion. Maintaining this quality and size at this price makes it a dish that truly reflects the pride of a long-established restaurant.🐖✨ ミックスかつ御膳(1,150円 ※excluding tax) A balanced, satisfying set that lets you enjoy various flavors at once. ハイパーとんかつ御膳(1,350円 ※excluding tax) Special tonkatsu accompanied by mountain yam, offering an exquisite pairing you can only experience here. 【A luxurious moment】Slightly upscale bento that brighten everyday life Another star that とんき takes pride in is its 「bento」, reputed to remain beautiful and delicious even when cold. ミックス弁当B(950円 ※excluding tax) A popular bento beautifully packed with carefully selected fried items, adding luxury to lunch. 焼魚とんかつ弁当(1,000円 ※excluding tax) An exquisite makunouchi-style bento showcasing skilled craftsmanship, with both juicy tonkatsu and carefully grilled fish.🍱 A truly wonderful restaurant where one bite tells you why it has been loved for 47 years. Do experience its reliably delicious food for yourself.✨
View on GoogleI visited for lunch just after 12, and it wasn't very busy, with plenty of empty seats. I ordered the tenderloin katsu set, but was told it was sold out. What do you mean a tonkatsu restaurant serving lunch has no tenderloin katsu? With no choice, I ordered the yakiniku rice bowl and soba set. The meat in the yakiniku bowl was old, and the rice was too soft and clumped together like dumplings rather than separated. It wasn't good, and I left all the rice. Very unpleasant.
View on GoogleI visited after a last-minute search, so I didn't expect much, but the portions and food quality were impressive. I'd visit again. Recommended
