Great place and food. There are tatami tables when it’s busy otherwise regular tables with chairs. Gets busy on the weekends for dinner and weekday lunches

A Japanese restaurant in Chigase, Ome City. Sashimi and fried dishes are the main offerings. There are parking spaces for several cars in front. Regular cars should have no problem. Inside, there are 4 counter seats, tables, and tatami seating. You can order verbally or online. I enjoyed the shogayaki set and loin katsu set. Alongside the regular katsu sauce, there's miso sauce, so you can change up the flavor. The shogayaki is strongly seasoned, but it makes you feel you could eat endless shredded cabbage. The small hijiki side, pickles, and miso soup were delicious too, and the bill was around 1200円 per person. The space was roomy and the restroom was clean.

Sunday, May 4, 2025 I went prepared for crowds during the long holiday, but several groups happened to be leaving, so we were seated without waiting. I chose “おろしヒレかつ定食” and my partner chose “ヒレかつ丼”. Plenty of cabbage, plenty of grated daikon, a small side dish, pickles, miso soup, and rice—a very generous meal! It came with ponzu and ume ponzu, and I recommend both. The hire katsu was incredibly delicious! The pickles and hijiki were perfect palate refreshers too. I'd also been curious about the miso sauce on the table, so I poured some over the hire katsu, and it was amazingly good! It was so delicious I wished they'd sell the miso sauce by weight. Personally, I'd have preferred the miso soup without tenkasu. The miso soup, rich with dashi aroma, was excellent too. I'm completely hooked on the miso sauce, so I'll definitely be back for more!
