Antique tableware really fills every available space. I had 2 glasses of wine and added foie gras to the lunch course. The meal had plenty of vegetables overall (which I appreciated), but it was generally salty, and the mousse? in a cup on the final dessert platter was too sweet to finish. Even the soup, though flavorful, was salty. I'm used to simple seasonings like dashi, so I couldn't eat it without drinks such as water or wine. Also, as the course progressed, something started making me think, “Huh?”… The vegetables were the same. It seemed like every dish used the same kinds of vegetables. There was also the fact that the main meat dish was pork, and wholegrain mustard sauce appeared repeatedly. There was no menu, only explanations when each dish was served, so I found myself thinking, what was that again?? Those things were disappointing... However, the vegetables were exceptionally fresh, and the timing of clearing plates and serving dishes was very pleasant. Apparently you can also hear stories about the antique tableware, so do visit if that's your thing. By the way, that pink flower-shaped pick in the foie gras scone sandwich is from ダイソー, right… I have them at home too lol Seeing ダイソー items used at this price point was a little disappointing.
View on GoogleA stylish place along a road I've traveled many times. I was surprised because I'd never noticed it at all. There are 3 private rooms, and the whole room was cute and lovely. The 3 appetizers, soup, fish dish, and meat dish were all delicious and very reasonably priced. There were 3 of us, and everyone's tableware was lovely too; it was a wonderful space. It might be perfect for a girls' get-together♥
View on GoogleI'd used the road in front many times but never knew this place existed, so this was my first visit. It turned out to be an amazing lunch (course). We came for a family member's birthday, and I was impressed by the stylish interior and the staff's thoughtfulness. Of course, the food was excellent too. I'd love to visit again😊
View on GoogleI haven't been able to visit for the past few months… but it's such a wonderful place!! I discovered it through afternoon tea and have enjoyed afternoon tea, the lunch course, and the study sessions(o^^o) The tableware is beautiful and the food looks gorgeous. The ingredients, such as vegetables and meat, are excellent, of course, but the appetizers, mains… everything is truly, truly delicious. I especially love the bread and scones! I always end up ordering シュコーレン too; I'd recommend it if you have room. I've also visited for Mother's Day and a friend's birthday, and the lovely smile of the lady bringing out the plate made for wonderful memories. It seems to be run by a husband and wife, so service may take some time when it's full, but the interior is filled with such an incredible collection that no matter how often I visit, I never have enough time to take it all in. Recommended for anyone wanting to relax surrounded by antiques. All kinds of people attend the study sessions^^; so they may or may not suit you. For a first visit, I'd suggest coming with family or friends, or on your own!
View on GoogleI visited for dinner last month. Every dish was exquisite, with flavors that I felt even people unfamiliar with French course meals could enjoy. The decorative items and antique tableware displayed inside were stunning. We were there for a celebration, and I was so happy when a staff member saw us taking photos and offered, “Shall I take a photo for you?” The food, the atmosphere, everything was wonderful. I'll visit again.
