ラーメン餃子 なか屋@東京都青梅市野上町2-11-1 Hi, it's さぴお ✍️マーラー麺 (switched toもち麦 noodles) ______________ 🍥Highlights ✅Distinctive spicy garlic ramen with the sharp heat of chili oil, sweet notes from beaten egg, and garlic-chip accents! ✅Free switch to “もち麦 noodles” made with domestically grown wheat! ✅An interior like a Chinese street-food stall ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ [Score] 82 points ☆3.7 [Access] “Kabe Station” (1.2km) [Closed] Monday [Queue・system] No queue・order verbally and pay first [Flavor] Chili oil After eating a popular nostalgic tsukemen in Kabe, I wondered if there might be another promising place...? RDB's map feature is useful at times like these. An essential tool for ramen fanatics. The average score on Ramen Database is 95.53 from 99 reviews. An incredibly high score. Part of the explanation is that one person has posted many reviews, but there must be something that has them so hooked. Looking it up, it's a mala tantanmen using beaten egg...? Isn't this a distinctive spicy stamina noodle dish!!! My desire to visit suddenly shot up. Even though I hadn't known it existed just a few minutes earlier... The trouble is that stamina places don't easily show up on my radar. It's north of Kabe Station, a little way out. It was opposite “ファッションセンターしまむら”. The exterior and interior atmosphere seem modeled on street-food stalls in Chinese-speaking regions. They appear to offer takeout too. For dining in, you enter the shop, order verbally at the counter by the entrance, and pay first. When I ordered マーラー麺, they told me, “You can switch to もち小麦 noodles for free.” Stamina, and もち小麦 noodles too?! Of course I said yes. You're given a number, and when it's called, you collect your food from the counter. It's self-service. ______________ 🟦Impressions ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ A bowl covered in chili oil and scattered with fried garlic chips. The presence of beaten egg insists that this is different from malatang. My first impression was, “Sweet...!” A gochujang-like spicy sweetness spreads throughout the mouth. A moment later, the heat of the chili oil sweeps through and wakes up the body! I like the bold aromatic fragrance from the garlic chips. Garlic aroma amid the spicy sweetness... My craving for stamina food is satisfied. The noodles are thick ones from 菅野製麺. Made with もち麦, they're bouncy and chewy, really making the most of its qualities. I've been seeing these もち麦 noodles from 菅野製麺 much more often lately. The toppings include beaten egg, with an approach somewhat like Isogen-style tantanmen. But this chili-oil flavor with its assertive sweetness must be unique to this place. I happily finished it all. If I hadn't been eating several meals back-to-back, I'd have liked to enjoy it with a rice dish or some sides... Thank you for the meal.

It's mainly a takeout place, but you can dine in 1〜2 days a week. I ordered the most popular dish, マーラー麺, with regular spice. It's self-service: pay first, then collect your order when your number is called. I ordered regular spice, but it was quite spicy. Still, it wasn't just spicy; it had savory depth too. The gyoza were packed with filling, satisfying and delicious.

【Dates eaten】 March 20-21, 2025 【Orders】 20: マーラー麺+gyoza+rice 21: 新マーラー麺+gyoza+rice 【Thoughts】 I'm not usually very keen to introduce my local ramen places, but this was so delicious that I decided to write about it. First, the heat of the マーラー麺 contributes to its deliciousness, which is wonderful. You can also choose regular wheat noodles or もち麦 noodles. I chose the もち麦 noodles, and even the noodles themselves were delicious. The gyoza are fairly large and delicious on their own, but dipping them into the spicy soup makes them unbelievably good. Finally, I added rice to the soup and enjoyed its delicious flavor to the very end. It was so good that I liked it enough to visit 2 days in a row. Finding a place you absolutely love in your own neighborhood is the best.

I visited for lunch on a day off. It's a small place. You order at the register first and receive a numbered ticket. When your food is ready, they call your number. It's self-service, including returning your dishes. This time, I ordered miso ramen, gyoza, and pork belly fried rice. You can add gyoza 1 at a time. The ramen noodles are thick and straight. As you eat, you start to realize it's quite a substantial portion. The gyoza have chewy wrappers and seem about 2.5 times the size of regular ones. This time, we shared the pork belly fried rice between two people, but it felt like something I'd want to eat with plain rice. I enjoyed everything very much.
