Best sushi in the Ome/Fussa area by far. Small and cozy (8 seats at bar, 8 at two tables), Morita-san serves the freshest fish around at a great price. He also speaks a bit of English. Call ahead if you plan to bring more than a couple folks.
View on GoogleWhile looking for a place to drink near Kabe Station I found this shop right next to the south exit and entered. The counter seats were filled with customers who seemed to be regulars, but luckily there was one seat left. There are also table seats, but it seems the owner runs the shop alone, so counter seats are the best❗️ At first, I ordered the sashimi platter (2000 yen) and Akakirishima 1 go (550 yen). The sashimi platter is less than I imagined But the quality is good and I could feel the craftsman's skill in the way it was served When I asked, it was originally a sushi shop that, with the flow of time, became an eatery that serves set meals at reasonable prices So I ordered an additional "Miyabi Teishoku (1900 yen)" named after the shop This is a set of grilled silver cod saikyo and sashimi platter A profitable set meal with side dishes, pickles, rice, and nameko mushroom soup After that, I enjoyed cold sake and shochu with water😋 Delicious food and comfortable service from the owner The atmosphere in the shop was nice and it was a good shop. Thank you for the meal. #TokyoGourmet #OmeGourmet #KabeStation #EateryMiyabi
View on GoogleToo delicious, too fun, I forgot to take pictures in the second half... The owner's personality, taste, history, everything was the best! After that, I was introduced to a senior's snack bar and that was also fun! It was my first time getting off at Kabe, but it was a good town! I will go again!
View on GoogleRecently, I've become busy and go out less at night even on weekends, so I haven't visited 'Miyabi' much... After a long time, I dropped by on my way home from work on Saturday (around noon). Since it's lunch time, first I ordered a draft beer to wet my throat, then ordered 'Unaju'. The soft eel meat and the fragrant aroma of the slightly charred skin on the surface... There, the sauce with just the right sweetness intertwines, creating an indescribable deliciousness and a sense of happiness. Indeed, the draft beer drunk during the day and the deliciousness of this Unaju is moving. Here, of course, there is sushi at night, sashimi platters, monkfish liver... and this shop is also good at meat dishes. Please try it once. The friendly and kind owner is waiting for you.
View on GoogleThis is an eatery at the south exit of the JR Ome Line Kabe Station. For lunch, you can choose from grilled fish set, sashimi set, chirashi sushi, and unaju. No parking. Inside the shop, there are counter seats and tatami seats. There is a restroom. Today I enjoyed the chirashi sushi for 1200 yen. The ingredients are white fish, tuna, vinegared mackerel, octopus, scallop, egg, sea urchin, salmon roe, and kamaboko. The amount of rice is small. It comes with miso soup and coffee jelly. Considering the price of 1200 yen, I think it's a good deal. I would be happy if I could choose the amount of rice. Also, I think the miso soup would taste better if it were hotter.
