Although it does a pretty decent job highlighting Gykudo's lifestyle and achievements, I found the museum a bit too small. It might only take 20 mins to go through it. The building and the garden are beautiful. Parking is free with museum entrance.
View on GoogleThis is a (seemingly) permanent exhibition of Kawai Gyokudō's, starting from a young age. Gyokudō was the pseudonym for Kawai Yoshisaburō. Many of his works are on display, and there is even a room set aside to look like his paint room setup, with easel, chair, and paints. The Japanese garden is exceptional.
View on GoogleHighly recommended. The garden is stunning, and I feel it reinforced Gyokudo's love of nature.
View on Google400 yen for gyokudos sketches and zen garden.
View on Googlesmall but a very cute museum with amazing floral pieces
