Set amid lush nature overlooking Mitake Gorge, our restaurant specializes in handmade juwari soba made with 100% buckwheat flour and natural water from Mount Mitake. Handcrafted by the owner, the soba is wonderfully fragrant and exceptionally smooth going down. Other highlights include tempura, appetizers, and sweets that celebrate nature's bounty, using fresh local Ome vegetables and seasonal ingredients. As a certified body-conscious menu restaurant, we offer health-conscious dishes that everyone can enjoy with peace of mind. Seasonal scenery is another attraction, from fresh spring greenery and autumn leaves to clear winter air. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and when special courses are offered. A 1-minute walk from Mitake Station, also convenient for stopping by while sightseeing or hiking…

An excellent, quiet and warm place to eat. The owner was extremely kind and helpful to my group of English speakers trying to order. He even helped us navigate allergies and recommended dishes for us. The chicken on a magnolia leaf and the red bean with yuzu are incredible and are a must try.

This is a phenomenal restaurant. Our group stopped in last night after a day of bouldering and enjoyed the food and experience so much we returned again tonight. We tried many different dishes and immensely enjoyed everything we ate. Our particular favorites were the yuzu red bean dessert, the chicken skewers, and spicy radish soba noodles. The owner was very hospitable for our group of English speakers, helped us navigate the menu, and taught us the best way to enjoy each dish. Thank you for sharing your culinary skills and wisdom. I highly recommend Goro if you're in Mitake!

Stopped in after visiting the Long Season album art photo spot. Amazing. I had perfect service. Some of the highest quality food ever, and with a gorgeous view. Coming again next trip.
