It caught my eye while passing by, so I stopped in. Yasai tenzaru soba (1390円). The soba is firm with a texture I like; perhaps it has little binder or is 10 parts buckwheat... The noodles are rather short. The dipping sauce is also the type I like (not sweet), and best of all, the wasabi is freshly grated, so I first tried the soba with just wasabi. (Delicious.) A couple who arrived later both ordered nabeyaki udon, which got me interested, so I'd like to try udon next time! The staff said it takes 20 minutes after ordering, and a notice on the wall seemed to say that if you call and tell them your arrival time, you can eat without waiting. (Weekdays only, though.)
View on GoogleThe location overlooking the Tama River and mountains, and the atmosphere from the gate to the entrance, are so calming and get me excited~✌️(There's a small pond too.) I had the summer-only chilled soba with grated spicy daikon. The handmade soba is delicious, and the sauce is on the savory side, just how I like it. The grated spicy daikon has a sharp kick and adds freshness! A summer soba with myoga giving it a cooling feel.
View on GoogleVisited twice. The first time, I ordered tenseiro. The soba was firm, flavorful, and delicious😊 The tempura was a little sticky and soft; I'd prefer it a bit crispier.
View on GoogleI'd known about this shop for some time, but my wife and I stopped in for the first time on our way home from visiting a grave during Ohigan. We entered around 11:45. We ordered zaru soba with shrimp and vegetable tempura. There were still plenty of seats when we arrived, but it filled up within 10 minutes. Our order arrived about 15 minutes later (see the photo). The tempura consisted of 2 shrimp, aralia shoots, pumpkin, eggplant, and maitake, freshly fried and crispy. The soba is handmade, fragrant, and delicious. I initially thought there might not be enough soba, but it was plenty. A large serving costs an additional 250円.
View on GoogleFirst visit 2022.10 I went in because it looked like I could use Ome City's PayPay 30% cashback offer. The approach has a lovely atmosphere. You can see the river and greenery from the seats, which is calming. I ordered ten tama niku tsukesoba. The piping-hot dipping broth was very delicious. The soba portion was normal, but the dipping broth was packed with ingredients and filled me up. The udon is apparently popular too, so I'll visit again when I have time. Minus 1 star for the big partition plonked on the table.
