Just a simple ramen shop. Pretty good overall. Lone staffer so if busy service can get slow.
View on GoogleGiven the location, I thought it was a run-down Chinese restaurant, but I was surprised to find Iekei ramen inside. The sliced garlic on the table was a little harsh, but the menu had quite a range. Rice costs extra, but you can make nonstandard orders like ramen with half a portion of noodles, which seems convenient in its own way. Going all the way to Okutama for ramen might feel a little underwhelming, but it's hardly crowded, doesn't charge tourist prices, and the flavor is reliable. I'd definitely like to return when I'm in Okutama.
View on GoogleA restaurant built on the site of a former gas station. The flavor was fairly good on my first visit, but has the owner changed? It was featured in a magazine after I visited, but the person cooking seemed different. Honestly, it feels neither good nor bad. I think the soup cools quickly. It's in a location where I'd like to stop for a meal while out driving, but the shop is so dark it's hard to tell whether it's open. The storefront is dark. Also, “忘れべからず初心,” thank you for your honest opinion. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I don't normally eat especially fine food or live extravagantly. I simply love ramen and express my own opinions. I'm not commenting to bring the restaurant down. However, if you're going to criticize someone by name, please use your real name. I don't know whether you're a man or a woman, but I think it's rude to others. Don't you have that much courage? Your language is inappropriate, too.
View on GoogleThis is one of my favorite places. The manager generally runs it alone, so it's best to avoid busy times. It tastes really delicious❗ Sometimes they offer miso for a limited time, too.
View on GoogleHey, 神山昌樹, you must eat some pretty fancy stuff all the time, huh? I think the owner's a good person, none of his movements are careless, and both his work and service are attentive. The shop is thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and I think the food tastes really good
