Along the Ome Hills hiking course, this is a pleasant spot where the view opens up. There are benches, so you can rest while looking out at the view to the south. The toilet is about 3 minutes west of here.
View on GoogleOf the 4 rest areas, this one has the most beautiful view. You can look out toward downtown Ome, so it's popular and there are often people here.
View on GoogleThe cherry tree grove near the Fourth Rest Area is my favorite spot on the Ome Hills hiking course. All sorts are planted here, like yamazakura, oshimazakura, and somei yoshino.
View on GoogleIt snowed on Saturday, and the next day I went hiking in the Ome Hills. There was a bit of snow left, but I could walk comfortably. I breezed through the walk from Futamatao to Ome.
View on GoogleThere's a gazebo (azumaya) one step up from the hiking course. The front is open, but when I went I couldn't see anything at all because of the snow. A few minutes further west there's also a portable toilet.
