Best of all, both husband and wife are so pleasant! The soup also has more substance than at other neighborhood Chinese places. There are ashtrays, so smoking might be allowed.

Apparently there is no parking. The popular choice is the standard ramen-shop favorite (other places are very likely to say the same when asked), the ramen and half-chahan set. The cold-water dispenser does not work. There are tissues. The ramen noodles are an overly ordinary, somewhat translucent type. (I prefer modern ramen shops run by slightly younger owners, using noodles from “something-or-other Seimen.”) The flavor also feels like what was probably standard ramen in this owner's generation (it is not modern). He wants to move closing time earlier. Inside, the owner has posted a message to customers, saying that at his age, staying open late is physically hard, so he wants to close earlier. Still, I think closing around 20 is pretty normal. #Early would mean finishing at 14 and dropping evening service; I think there are quite a few places run by older owners doing that, so 20 is normal, right? There is just 1 closing day a month. Only the 3rd Friday “every month,” once a month. On top of that, he had been staying open late every day until now, so perhaps he has gotten tired. The people at the shop have quite a bit of free time and watch TV. It is in an inconvenient location with no parking, street parking is difficult, and it is not tonkotsu, so I do not think that many people come.

An old-fashioned neighborhood Chinese restaurant! It is simply tasty, but somehow the flavor feels nostalgic~ A taste of Showa~‼️

I ordered the ramen and half-chahan set. At 1000円, it felt a little expensive. As you would expect from a shop that promotes its chahan, it was very delicious. The ramen noodles were overcooked and not tasty, but the shoyu ramen broth had a strong chicken-bone and ginger flavor and was very good. The interior had the charm of an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant, which I personally really liked. There is no parking, so I parked at the Seven-Eleven right in front.

Run by an elderly couple. An experienced neighborhood Chinese restaurant with decent food. The lack of parking is a drawback. Rather than carelessly spending money at a trendy chain, this place is worth a visit now and then too (recommended).
