The coffee-shop-style ナポリタン with properly thick, chewy noodles was fantastic. For the coffee, when I explained the kind of flavor I like and asked for advice, they gave me a recommendation. It paired perfectly with the crème brûlée and was delicious. The temperature inside was neither too hot nor too cold, making it very comfortable.
View on GoogleI'm a frequent customer here. Dishes like ナポリタン and the daily-changing cheesecake are delicious and appealing too, but the coffee especially impressed me! On my first visit, I had a dark-roasted coffee. Deep, rich bitterness and mellow, chocolate-like sweetness mingled in my mouth in an exquisite balance, followed by a fragrance that gently spread like an aromatic scent. It was so delicious I actually said out loud, “Oh, that's delicious.” From that day on, I fell completely in love with this shop's coffee and have been trying different coffees every time I visit. Not only dark roasts, but also light roasts with bright berry-like acidity and the fresh sweetness of white-fleshed fruit, and slightly unusual coffees with cinnamon-like spiciness—everything is delicious. It's a wonderful place to experience coffee's many charms. I was also surprised that rare top-specialty beans could be bought more cheaply than elsewhere. I always get to spend a luxurious, happy moment here as a break on my days off. I'll keep stopping by to enjoy the delicious coffee and food.
View on GoogleI visited with my wife the other day. The interior had a calm atmosphere, like a quintessential coffee shop from the good old Showa era, with that same relaxed feeling. Most of the customers were quiet too, and even when every table was occupied, not a single customer was talking loudly. It felt like a place for adults. It was already full before 11:30, and several customers left because they couldn't get in. Apparently, the coffee we ordered is hand-dripped one cup at a time. The balance between the aroma passing through the nose, the bitterness at the first sip, and the refreshing acidity that followed was exquisite—personally, it was exactly my taste. We didn't have time to eat on this visit, but I'd like to return with my wife to enjoy some grown-up time together. There seemed to be a time limit so that everyone would have a chance to use the café. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI came after hearing its reputation for serving delicious coffee in 青梅. Despite being a classic coffee room, it has a large selection of specialty coffees. The menu also contains lots of explanations about coffee, making even browsing it enjoyable. You can get a fairly good sense of the owner's preferences from it. After a lot of indecision, I deliberately chose a dark-roasted イルガチェフェ. It tasted better than I'd expected. It wasn't merely bitter; I could clearly taste the fruitiness, and it changed my perception of coffee. An impressive cup that really moved me. Thank you for the coffee.
View on GoogleA visit after 2 months. The coffee menu has expanded since last time. There are lots of explanations too, making it interesting to read. This time I had a rare coffee from Mexico that apparently won an award called Cup of Excellence. Just as the menu described, it had an unusual lemon-like, jasmine-like sensation and was very delicious. It made me want to try various coffees again. By the way, it's not just the coffee—the interior has plenty of plants and stained-glass lamps, making it a lovely coffee shop. There are lots of unusual coffees. When I couldn't decide, the owner explained them in detail. I had the recommended coffee that tastes like strawberry. With my eyes closed, it was like fruit tea and very delicious. I was surprised that the aroma was exactly like strawberry. It was my first encounter with that flavor and aroma, and a moving experience.
