You can enjoy a beautiful sunset from this observation deck. To get there on foot, you’ll need to climb a fairly long hill. I recommend renting a scooter at the harbor.

Very nice view of the ocean. There are also picnic tables and restrooms. I walked up here from the main town area, which took about half an hour. Saw a few whales from far away, but I will buy some binoculars and come back up here again some day for sure 😁

One of the best places in Chichijima. Sunset and stargazing spots. I remember during my first year as an ALT and just as I've arrived, the first place I had my lunch as introduced by the English teacher. What a serene sight, I recall! Calm and magnificent. 💙

This is my favorite spot to go whenever I want to watch the sunset. It has a perfect scenery with a view of the ocean. You can also see some Humpback whales here especially during winter season. At night, many villagers are coming here to have some star gazing. You can actually see all the stars so clearly in this view point. I love this place

Ogasawara-maru coming into Futami harbor and Anijima islands can be seen here. It takes about 15 minutes by an electronic bicycle from the harbor.
