It's a casual Chinese diner that you can find anywhere. Loved by the locals of Higashi-Fushimi, many families come here, but since there are only 5 counter seats and two 4-person tables, it feels quite crowded with 10 people. This time, we toasted with a yakiniku set meal for ¥850, a large bottled beer for ¥650, and hiyayakko for ¥250.

This is a true town Chinese diner that retains the scent of the Showa era. Ramen and half fried rice. The 500 yen ramen with boiled egg and seaweed floating in it is a simple yet classic soy sauce ramen that you never get tired of. The 300 yen half fried rice is a rare type where the egg is added on top without being scrambled. It also has green peas and is well-seasoned. However, it's quite oily and a bit sticky. The katsu curry is also plentiful, a yellow Showa-era Japanese curry using curry powder similar to that of a soba shop, with dashi and potato starch, and it's delicious. The pork loin katsu is a little hard, with a crunchy coating that sometimes feels like it might poke the inside of your mouth, and the plate is deep so there's plenty of curry sauce. The katsudon is also high quality for 700 yen, with a good balance of seasoning, and the crunchiness of the katsu remains, making for a texture you won't get tired of. The gyoza has chewy skin, feels handmade, and is perfectly cooked and delicious. Private shops like this that have been around for a long time are becoming rare, so I hope they continue for a long time.

A Chinese restaurant located in a small alley off Higashi-Fushimi Station. Because of the location, there are many athletic students, so both the portion and taste are good. For those who are hungry, there are medium and large portions for an additional fee. As in other reviews, the students ordered large portions of omelet rice. There were also big eaters who ordered a large omelet rice + a side dish. There are also side dishes to go with beer. The beers available were Kirin Lager, Ichiban Shibori, and Asahi Super Dry. Not only students but also locals come to eat.

⚪︎Omelet Rice (¥700) ☆☆☆★★ Thinly fried egg-shaped omelet rice without any burnt marks Maybe because it uses a lot of oil the surface of the egg is shiny, which is its charm The seasoning of the chicken rice inside is sweet If you eat it for a long time, it gets a bit boring So if you add a little sauce from the table the taste becomes tighter and delicious The content is more than it looks It can make you very full The taste is not that delicious... But considering the price, it's a great deal Large portion is +¥100 which is very cheap but I don't think you need to do it ⚪︎Chukadon (¥750) ☆☆★★★ Somehow it feels a bit different from what I imagined! It feels like that Chinese cabbage, green onion, carrot, onion, I understand up to the small shrimp Kamaboko, naruto, char siu for ramen? It's dry and cut thick And a fried egg with presence in the center? Originality is good, but somehow it feels like eating something like chukadon The taste and quantity are average ◯Mini Curry (¥300) ⭐︎⭐︎★★★ ◯Mini Fried Rice (¥300) ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎★ ◯Karaage (¥550) ⭐︎⭐︎★★★ Bright yellow old Showa-style pork curry Unexpectedly, there were pieces of meat in it It's not spicy and it's mellow Although it's mini, the amount of sauce is plentiful The taste is the type I don't like Fried rice is lumpy and chewy The seasoning is firm and the oil is high If it were harder and loose, the rating would be higher It's delicious Karaage is breast meat? It's dry Garlic and ginger are effective but the saltiness is light and half-baked The strength is that the amount is a little more

A small shop located in a back street residential area about 5 minutes from Higashi-Fushimi Station, the interior has a counter and two tables, just like the Showa era. There is no stylishness at all, but I feel there were many shops like this in the past. The soy sauce ramen is very simple, simple but the taste is firm and goes well with pepper. The half fried rice is very ordinary but hot and good. Above all, the price is also just like the Showa era, 1350 yen including a large bottle of beer, so there are no complaints. There are many rice menus, and it might be interesting to find what hits or misses. A town Chinese that is becoming rare, I want the somewhat older staff to keep doing their best forever.
