As a steak restaurant, we serve a variety of high-quality steaks such as sirloin, fillet, and misuji. Alongside steak and hamburg dishes such as our signature "Aged Sirloin Steak" and the Volks-tradition "Volks Hamburg," our salad bar—introduced in 1972 as the first among Japanese restaurant chains—freshly baked bread made in-store from fermentation to baking, and our soup bar where you can enjoy corn potage are also widely loved by our customers. At lunchtime, we offer menus that include the "Salad Bar," "Soup Bar," and "Freshly Baked Bread," so you can enjoy everything Volks has to offer at a great value. With family or friends…

Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Has a bit of an American diner feel. Good steak. The chicken steak is a legit grilled chicken thigh. 100% beef patties and other items can be added. Lamb chops are quite good. BUT it would be really nice if they offered a set drink bar option. 10% coupons are offered for Volks and others in the Zensho group.

This is a really old branch in Tanashi. The ambiance inside and out is not interesting anymore compared to the Volks I've been to in Kyushu almost 18 years ago. Food is fine though a bit on the pricey side considering the aging facilities inside.

Super delicious from main dish meats to salad bar! The soup and bread are both great although it's all-you-can-eat (took three trips although already full, but it's so good). Salad bar is amazing with a very solid wide variety of veggies. This is by far better than any family-style restaurants in Japan where all-you-can-eat bar are usually filled with cheapest veggies or really watered-down soup only. Meats are also great but almost pales in comparison with the salad bar. Definitely would go again if in the area. Sorry too busy eating and no photos!

Typical chain store. Don't come here expecting Western style steak house like the one you find in the US. It's more like Denny's specialized in meat dishes. All dishes come with salad bar, and you can add unlimited home baked bread and soup bar as additional options. Meat is good quality, but I'd advice to avoid the lamb as it smelled a bit strong. I find it a bit overpriced, but maybe worth it if you're feeling like eating steak instead of yakiniku.
