Great place for kids of all ages. Took my 1.5 year old son. Many things he was too small for but still enough. Cafeteria was a bit crowded but had a reasonable menu.

The Tamarokuto Science Center is a wonderful place for anyone who loves science, space, and hands-on learning. The exhibitions are very interactive and designed for all ages — kids, students, and even adults will enjoy exploring the different zones. The planetarium show is especially impressive, with a huge dome screen and clear explanations in both Japanese and English.

Key highlights are the excellent moonwalk experience and planetarium. Lots of other interactive exhibits and great community feel. Everything is in Japanese but the planetarium show with pre-recorded audio has an audio kit with English translations. 2nd floor exhibits on biology and geology were a bit dull.

It feels like transported in time to when I was a kid and was discovering science by experiencing it, touching it and sharing. 100% recommended for families, science lovers and curious people. It has a fix exposition, planetarium and several extra activities. Will repeat and try some activities next time.

Raining? Cold? Visit this indoor playground with a lot of informative little attractions. Strangely, this planetarium boast about having the best planetarium projector in the world! Allow yourself for half a day or more if visiting with children and willing to see panorama movie and enjoy the planetarium show.
