I thought this was just the right kind of place for an everyday meal The soba was fresh and delicious There was a variety of snacks to go with drinks, and all were tasty It's on a street just off the main road Sort of a backstreet From the seats inside, you can also watch the artisan making soba When we visited, our timing was good and they were making it The customers seemed to be mainly locals If I lived nearby, I could see myself dropping in whenever I felt like a casual bowl of soba

There are many lovely restaurants around here. The exterior looks cool too! It's clean, has a long-established feel, and feels welcoming There are private rooms too When I entered, I was offered a place upstairs, and although I was alone, I was seated in a tatami room with a sunken kotatsu table. The menu has so many choices, it's hard to decide The illustration looked lovely, so I chose nihachi soba with tempura The firm, slightly thick soba reflects their commitment to making it by hand So delicious The tempura is huge The tableware is lovely and well aged too 1600 yen is cheap! I'm completely satisfied There are many wonderful restaurants in this area. The exterior is also cool! It's clean, has a long-established feel, and is inviting. There are private rooms available. Upon entering, I was offered a seat on the second floor, and even though I was alone, I was seated in a tatami room with a sunken hearth. The menu is extensive, making it difficult to choose. The illustrations are lovely, so I chose the soba noodles with tempura. The firm, slightly thick soba noodles are clearly handmade. It's delicious! The tempura is huge! The tableware is also lovely and shows its age. 1600 yen is cheap! I'm very satisfied.

This is a soba restaurant I also visited a few years ago with my mother, who lives in Saitama Prefecture. On my first visit, I had sobagaki nabe. It was so delicious I finished even the broth. As it was my first time having sobagaki nabe, I was truly impressed! This time I came for lunch with my mother. Sobagaki nabe is now only available in winter by reservation, so I'll definitely be back to eat it again‼️ There are 1st and 2nd floors, full of that relaxing soba restaurant atmosphere. There was also a counter where you can watch soba being made while eating if your timing is right. It's close to the station too, so it might be worth stopping by if you're nearby. I finished with soba shiruko for dessert. I'm full—thank you for the meal.

Weekday lunch at “Sarashina Tanashi” in Tanashicho. This time I chose “inaka soba.” When the soba arrived, its thickness and color were irresistible for a soba lover! The noodles had a robust, satisfying chew, and the soba aroma wafting through my nose was wonderful. I enjoyed it to the last bite, adding the green onion, wasabi, and grated daikon a little at a time. This bold soba could become addictive. I'll visit again when I'm nearby!

Located by the north exit of Tanashi Station. There's a 2nd floor too. The noodles are smooth and easy to eat. Service is quick when it's not busy.
