I visited for the first time because they accept Nishitokyo City's living-support card. I ordered a course meal, and everything was of a high standard. All the appetizers were delicious, and the sashimi was fresh and sweet. The chawanmushi had a comforting flavor, and the main unaju had a refined sauce and beautifully prepared eel, as expected. I finished it in no time. I've decided this is where I'll go for eel from now on.

I'm from Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture (next to Yanagawa, the heartland of eel), and grew up frequently eating seiro-steamed eel from my junior and senior high school years. Even I find it delicious. This restaurant also has tempura, Yanagawa nabe, sashimi, and more. It would be even better with a wider selection of sake and wine, though.

It's on the left side of the road heading from Hibarigaoka Station toward Tanashi. There are two tables for 4 and three partitioned tatami areas, each with a table for 4. The pleasant proprietress showed us in. The eel B course was 3600円. It came with sashimi, chawanmushi, shumai, and liver soup. It was very delicious. The unaju in the photo had already been partly eaten. Sorry. When I ordered a highball at the end, the proprietress made it free because it was the last of it and the amount was a little short. Thank you.

I used Nishitokyo's 7000円. Unaju and liver soup. It was very delicious, just as the other reviews said. The eel itself was light but had just the right fattiness, and the sauce was very well balanced rather than salty or sweet. The tuna was delicious too.

Visited on Saturday 8/4, just after 17:00. I couldn't get a reservation, perhaps because there were few slots, so I visited just after opening. I was seated immediately at an empty table. I ordered 「うなぎコースA」. You can order it without a reservation, and alongside unaju it comes with an appetizer, sashimi, and chawanmushi, so it's perfect for people who want to drink while nibbling! That day I enjoyed a large draft beer, chilled sake, turban shell grilled in its shell, Japanese-style shumai, and sashimi! They served the main unaju when we wanted it, after we let the staff know. The eel had a little char that made it fragrant and delicious! There was quite a lot of sauce on the rice, so it might have been perfect if there were a little less and we could adjust the amount ourselves. Anyway, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal.
