A tofu shop about ２ minutes from the north exit of 田無駅. It's close, but tucked away in a back alley that's a little hard to find. The tofu is delicious, and there are various tofu-based prepared dishes that are tasty and cheap. I recommend the tofu restaurant (豆勝), which offers healthy food and reasonably priced drinking.

Simmered dishes, oden, yuba, okara, simmered hijiki, tofu croquettes—a great selection of prepared dishes. Everything has a wonderful, gentle flavor. The portions are generous too, and the carefully prepared food makes me happy.

A shop run at their own pace by an elderly lady and the owner. As you'd expect from a tofu restaurant, the yuba sashimi and fried-and-grilled natto are superb. But it might be a little difficult to visit as a group.

It seems to be run by the same person as the tofu shop next door. I often shop at the tofu store.

A restaurant I hope stays around forever. I really enjoyed the delicious food.
