An ordinary neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Shoyu ramen🍜 It was most delicious. The gyoza filling is finely minced. I like it a bit coarser. The skin was crispy.
View on GoogleTaste-wise it's an ordinary ramen shop, but no matter how many times I go, I can't stand the owner's unfriendliness. Not a single smile; you can't tell whether they even care or not. It's a customer service business, so they should train themselves in how to behave toward customers. Even if they're a cook, they don't work purely behind the scenes.
View on GoogleA sharp-flavored "old-fashioned ramen" that's in a different league from the typical old-school ramen with its muddled taste. If it got just one step sharper, it could become a shop with lines that outshines the famous shop around the back.
View on GoogleThere seem to be a lot of hater comments, but it's honestly tasty. The prices are reasonable too. The owner is indeed unfriendly, but they do say "Welcome" and "Thank you." Also, they love baseball, so if you get them started on it they'll talk your ear off. (I'm not into baseball, so I've never talked to them about it.) Also, there are only 6 seats, so it gets full around lunchtime—it might be good to go at a slightly different time.
View on GoogleOthers have already written about the atmosphere and service, so I'll skip that. I ordered the shoyu ramen and mapo don set. The ramen flavor was way too weak. The chashu had a weird smell. The mapo don wasn't just bland, it also had way too many lumps.
