To celebrate our wedding anniversary and a birthday together, we had the 'Summer Anniversary Course + All-You-Can-Eat Peking Duck.' From the appetizers to dessert, the plates and presentation were beautiful, and above all the flavors were wonderful! Every dish was truly delicious, we were moved. As a birthday surprise we even got an abalone dish, making it a memorable time. Every staff member was courteous and served us pleasantly. When I looked at her name tag, her name was Shizuka. Thank you very much. The lunch congee is superb, so it was already a favorite of mine, but now I like it even more. I'd love to go eat there again.

This time I ordered ・Signature black vinegar sweet and sour pork (with rice and almond tofu) 1,309 yen Sweet and sour pork with simple ingredients — just fist-sized chunks of pork and nagaimo yam — generously covered in black vinegar sauce. The texture was superb: even with the sauce soaked in, the batter on the pork was crispy, and the meat inside was more tender than I expected and delicious, but it's not the kind of flavor that makes you keep eating rice. You can swap the rice for steamed buns, and indeed this seasoning might taste better that way. My companion ordered ・唐苑 recommended lunch 1,639 yen Lots of items: two kinds of cold dishes, 2 xiaolongbao, shrimp in chili sauce, and almond tofu, and there were 4 mains to choose from, but my companion picked lettuce fried rice as the main and the portion was reaaally small, which seemed to disappoint them a bit. Since it's a course at this price, maybe it's a half portion. If you want a hearty serving of fried rice, ordering it à la carte might be better. I had a little of the fried rice and shrimp chili, and both were seasoned to Japanese tastes and delicious. And the lunch menu comes with a buffet, and it's pretty high-level and tasty! That day's buffet was as follows ・Egg soup… this was simple, nothing special either way, but way tastier than at a family restaurant. ・Chicken congee… insanely delicious, the chicken broth really comes through. ・Cold glass noodle salad… glass noodles made just a little spicy, with lots of vegetables, also tasty. ・Cabbage with salt sauce… cabbage tossed in a peppery salt sauce, solidly tasty. The congee I wanted seconds of wasn't being refilled for a while, but when I told a staff member, they said 'We'll make it right away!' and it was refilled in about 5 minutes — they really make it fresh each time. They also have daily specials and plenty of noodle dishes like hot and sour soup and dandan noodles, so it's a place I'd definitely like to come back to.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant near Hibarigaoka Station, and what stood out was its easygoing, welcoming atmosphere. The food overall wasn't too oily, with a gentle, comforting seasoning that made it very easy to eat. When people think of Chinese food they tend to imagine strong flavors, but here you could also taste the ingredients themselves, and I enjoyed it to the very last bite. The portions were just right too, and I think it's perfect for everyday meals. The staff's very polite and kind service also left an impression. They took our order with a smile, and the atmosphere inside was warm and comfortable. A Chinese restaurant where you can feel not just the taste of the food but the character of the people, and one I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleA place with a calm atmosphere where you can elegantly enjoy delicious Chinese food. The black vinegar sweet and sour pork is superb. Also, at lunch it's all-you-can-eat cabbage and tofu. Please stop by.
View on GoogleAuthentic Chinese with its main branch in Nerima. It's on the 3rd floor of a building right on the newly redeveloped north side of Hibarigaoka. A great restaurant where you can eat authentic Chinese flavors at reasonable prices. The shop's top recommendation, the sweet and sour pork, is something I don't think you'll have eaten anywhere else. I wonder if they take pork like a lean kakuni, fry it in a very thin batter, and toss it all at once while heating it with black vinegar? I think it's a flavor that divides people, but adults are likely to get pretty hooked. The xiaolongbao, shrimp chili and others hold their own against the authentic Chinese restaurants you find in hotels. Rather than competing on spiciness, they bring out the best of each dish one by one, so the clientele is fairly upscale too. Reservations are a must on weekends and holidays. Thank you for the meal😋
