Great lunch, I got the 1100yen kuppa soup lunch set. The owner is chill and the place is not busy so you can relax and eat.
View on GoogleAfter work, late at night (before 22:00), my husband and I wanted some meat and visited for the first time. When we entered, the male owner showed us to a table at the back. He seemed quiet, perhaps the type who only says what's necessary. But it wasn't unpleasant; in fact, he let my husband and me stay until just before closing. The two of us ordered: ◉Set A (4~5 servings) Kalbi, rump, pork loin, chicken, premium salted tongue 〈5,830 yen including tax〉 ◉Munchu (recommended Korean-style salad) 〈770 yen including tax〉 ◉Yukhoe bibimbap 〈1,265 yen including tax〉 ◉Onmen (recommended Korean-style hot noodles) 〈990 yen including tax〉 We didn't order drinks, and when we asked for water, they gave us a pitcher. The meat is domestically sourced and reasonably priced. It was very delicious, and we finished it in no time. The yukhoe bibimbap was delicious too. I always order reimen when I visit a yakiniku restaurant. This time I had onmen, but perhaps something hot wasn't the best choice in summer… It tasted good. I'd also like to try the Morioka reimen, so I'll look forward to that next time. What made me really happy at checkout was a limited-time 5% discount available only at night. Thanks to that, the total for the two of us was 8,203 yen. Payment is cash only. We also received Green Gum with our change. (Nostalgic) Another reason for giving ☆5 is that despite eating late at night, I didn't get indigestion.
View on GoogleThe photo shows the kalbi lunch for 1300 yen (excluding tax). The set includes 100g of kalbi, 2 kinds of namul, kimchi, vegetable egg soup, a small tofu side dish, salad, and a large serving of rice. As it was my first visit and I didn't know the portions, I asked whether I could pay extra for a larger meat portion. They said there was no larger-portion option; extras must be ordered individually from the regular menu. I figured I could order more if needed, so I ordered the regular portion for now. In the end, I was completely satisfied without adding anything. The sweet, fatty kalbi came with plenty of sides that went wonderfully with rice. The large rice serving and the sides were perfectly balanced. I was impressed by how well thought out it was. The homemade namul, kimchi, and sides are delicious. You even get coffee after the meal. The owner handles everything alone, from cooking to serving, but the food is carefully prepared and reasonably priced. A great little restaurant. The dinner menu is extensive too, with reassuring prices. It might suit meat lovers who want to eat plenty. I'd also like to invite a meat-loving friend and return for dinner.
View on GoogleI'd been avoiding it for no particular reason, but recently visited for lunch for the first time. The service is unfriendly, but the food is grilled directly over charcoal, tastes good, and comes in generous portions. I'll visit again.
View on GoogleI went for lunch. I ordered the kalbi lunch. The taste was fantastic, and I found it very delicious. However, the service attitude of the person I assume was the owner was terrible, which was disappointing. From entering to ordering and paying, every time I spoke to him, he muttered complaints, which didn't feel pleasant. It was enough to make me think: if you're going to complain about customers so much, why run a restaurant? Perhaps that's just how he is and it can't be helped, but it feels unpleasant to be on the receiving end, so I'm giving a low rating. I thought it would be an excellent restaurant if only the service were normal, which makes it truly disappointing.
