Warm air comes out of a hole in the wall. By the way, apparently a cat sometimes jumps out of it.
View on GoogleThis is a hole in a wall on the way to Jinata Onsen. It's said to be connected to the source of Jinata Onsen, and if you put your hand in the hole, it's warm. By the way, there are lots of cats around here, and every time I passed by they were holding a cat meeting. According to the staff at Ikoi no Ie, they're kept by a nearby household. So, when I went up to put my hand in the water-temperature hole, a cat shot out of it like a launched missile and made me jump, so everyone, watch out for birds and beasts leaping out of the hole.
View on GoogleA hole where, supposedly, if you put your hand in, you can tell the water temperature of the island's hot springs. I only put my hand in once, so I couldn't tell the day-to-day differences, but it felt mystical.
View on GoogleVisited 2023/10. I also found a cat inside. Maybe because it's getting chilly? You might not see that in midsummer during high season.
View on GoogleJust as the name says, if you stick your hand in this hole, you can tell the water temperature. Maybe because of the weather, it felt a bit lukewarm compared to the real thing.
