This is an observation deck along the way to 隈の井 (Kumanoi). There's a rest area below the observation deck. If you climb the wooden observation deck and look out toward the sea, the view is nice. The breeze feels pleasant, and your sweat dries off while you take in the view for a while.
View on GoogleAn observation deck you can reach in under 10 minutes from the bicycle parking. It's maintained and not dirty. From the viewing area, it's a shame the trees in front get in the way, but you can still take in the whole view.
View on GoogleThe observation deck was more impressive than I expected. The view is, well, pretty in a normal kind of way.
View on GoogleAn observation deck, tables, and chairs that make you marvel at how they managed to haul the materials all the way here and build them. I paid my respects to that
View on GoogleOn the way to 「唐人津城」 (Tojinzushiro) or 「隈の井」 (Kumanoi), a building suddenly appears in the forest. I wondered what it was, climbed the stairs, and it turned out to be this observation deck. But the view... is not all that much. ※By normal standards it's a nice view, but on Shikinejima there are stunning views everywhere, so relatively speaking it ends up feeling like "huh, okay." I don't recommend coming here just for this, but if you're heading to 「唐人津城」 or 「隈の井」, you might as well check it out on the way. That's all.
