My first visit was on Friday, October 3, 2025. I was really in the mood for delicious sushi, so I looked for a place and came here. Perhaps because it was a little late, I was the only person at the counter. I could enjoy my meal leisurely while chatting with the chef. Apparently the shop was opened by his predecessor. It feels like an old-fashioned neighborhood sushi shop. Personally, I like that, though with more neat, modern places opening lately, I think many people prefer those. Anyway, since I was alone, I made the special request to have sake served in half-go portions and enjoyed almost all of them. There were many brands I didn't know. The tairagai was thinly sliced, lightly seared, and served with salt. It's good for nibbling slowly as a drinking snack. I also had sazae no tsuboyaki. Perhaps a bit more broth would be nice? But it was delicious. The sashimi was Good too. The nigiri was carefully made. I was happy to see menegi available. Apparently the shime saba and gari roll was created at a customer's request. There are many such items, and I appreciate the predecessor's and current chef's desire to make customers happy. It's a sushi shop I hope keeps going for a long time. I want to support it.

The restaurant is between Ekoda Station and Shin-Ekoda Station, making it easy to visit. I had sunomono, sazae no tsuboyaki, and 10 pieces of chef's-choice sushi. It was incredibly delicious 🍣 I'll visit again.

My favorite neighborhood sushi shop. They serve very delicate, carefully crafted sushi. There's a wide range of snacks too. Even if something isn't on the menu, they'll make it if you ask. It's run by a very friendly married couple! If I lived nearby, I'd probably eat sushi here half the week.

Along Senkawa Street. Apparently the late Haruo Minami often visited when the previous owner was running it. There was also a signed board on the wall saying, “Customers are gods.” Anyway, I ordered the “top-grade nigiri.” That day it included lean tuna, chutoro, filefish topped with its liver, shrimp, scallop, sea urchin, salmon roe, egg, tuna rolls, and cucumber rolls. The soup was a clear sea bass broth. Every topping was delicious. The filefish, sea urchin, and otoro were especially good. I'll come back for anago nigiri next time.

Visited for lunch. It was delicious. It came with miso soup (fish trimmings soup). I ordered extra anago. The sushi toppings were fresh too.
