These days, Japanese restaurants run by Japanese people are very rare, especially in hotels.. This restaurant is down an alley (deep inside).. run by Japanese people, with polite service and delicious food. The soup is delicious, not oily and not salty. The restaurant is quite crowded, so you should book ahead

20260112 It is in a residential neighborhood and not close to a station, so it is hard to find, but worth visiting. I didn't have much time, so I had seiro for 940円. Despite being thin, the noodles were firm and chewy, yet easy to bite through and smooth going down. The kaeshi was also clear with a refined flavor. This is at a level where eating it with tempura and coating it in oil would feel disrespectful. It came out quickly, so I stayed only about 10 minutes, but the service was so exceptionally polite that I felt humbled. Next time I want to come at a leisurely pace, have a light drink with some snacks, and finish with seiro. 20260125 Visited on Sunday around 1230. Since my family was with me, we had a regular lunch. I had 鴨汁せいろ for 1300円. The broth was piping hot, and the duck was diced, making it easy to eat. Perhaps it had been seared over a flame; it was wonderfully fragrant and exceeded expectations in a good way. It was also sprinkled with sesame seeds, which the regular seiro doesn't have, adding even more aroma. My family had 月そぼろ温そば and 親子温そば. The former had a ten-tama flavor, was less greasy than expected, and surprisingly light. The latter had a flavor infused with chicken broth; comparing the two, I'd like to try 親子温そば next time.
