UCHI's Café
We currently open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Since opening in 2016, we have worked to maintain social distance (a comfortable distance between people) so guests can enjoy meals and conversation in a spacious, calm setting. At ウチズカフェ, whose theme is “healing,” clinical psychologists and certified public psychologists also provide counseling. Escape the bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing moment at a leisurely pace.

It had caught my attention whenever I passed this street, and since I happened to be walking nearby, I stopped in. The calming interior is a pretty nice space to spend some quiet time. The menu mainly consists of hamburg steak, bite-sized steak, and pasta, and is decent. Nearby are several stylish cafe restaurants run by garden shops, all hugely popular, but I have absolutely no desire to visit places where you queue for hours amid that kind of bustle. Everyone values different things, but I was very happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood. It is independently run rather than a chain, so naturally it has its own character. If you do not like it, simply do not come. As for the regulars-only menu, my companion was actually disappointed that they could not order it, but I thought it was a fairly interesting idea, like a secret menu. The prices are not surprisingly cheap, but are what you would expect for a leisurely meal out in Tokyo. The flowering peach tree outside was very beautiful. We left saying we really must keep coming until we become regulars. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleA cafe with a really lovely atmosphere! I was able to enjoy my meal at leisure. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I would like to bring my favorite book and relax over a coffee.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch. Drawn by the “for adults~” wording, I ordered the lunch plate. Hmm, everything felt like frozen food… (hamburg steak, fried shrimp, crab cream croquette, French fries, even the warm vegetables) 1800円 for this selection is… I am not a critic, but I once worked with frozen food, so that is how it seemed to me. If I was mistaken, I apologize, but I will not make a correction. Please just laugh it off as something someone might write. The offer of a refund is a little unpleasant.
View on GoogleIt faces a major road with just one door separating it, but inside is a relaxing space. It feels like they run it with care. It is nice to have somewhere you can stay at night even just for coffee. Objectively, for other users, there is a step at the entrance, and the toilet may be difficult for wheelchair users. But if you ask, they seem likely to work something out!?
View on GoogleIt is a little way off 環七. The interior has a calm atmosphere and spacious sofas, so you can relax. They also hold mini concerts occasionally. Apparently, they currently open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (as of 12/10).
