The restaurant is cozy and it has a lot of dine in patrons. They have a separate takeout menu in Japanese and it's posted outside their storefront. The elderly couple who owns and manages the restaurant are nice. I waited for less than 20 minutes for my order but it took awhile before I was able to eat them. They are delicious but they would have tasted even way better if I ate them freshly cooked inside the restaurant.

Delicious tempura.

They're now open for lunch too, so I visited again after a long time. ※Opening hours 11:30-13:30 (LO 13:00) ※They closed temporarily for a while, and after reopening operated only in the evening. I was surprised they still charge the same prices as before despite rising costs. I ordered the jo tendon. The shrimp tempura was satisfying, without tips made only of batter like at chain restaurants, and the balance with the kisu and vegetable tempura made it delicious. I thought takeout would also be nice if I get the chance.

About the level indicated by the Google reviews. Tempura restaurants aren't easy to find, so I'm glad I got to visit once. Take course

I visited for lunch. The chef-owner greets you brightly and energetically from behind the counter. There aren't many lunch options, but they're just right for lunch. The tendon sauce had just the right sweetness and wasn't overapplied, so I could finish the whole bowl. The tempura set also had delicious dipping sauce, and the tempura was crispy and really tasty. I think they use good shrimp for the shrimp tempura too! At this quality, the price is excellent value. I'm happy to know I can eat food of this quality in Nakamurabashi!
